Marriage to  John McCalmont, 2 June 1926, Knox Church, Masterton.

A quiet wedding was solemnised in Knox Church, Masterton, on Wednesday, the contracting parties being Miss Ellen Dickens and Mr John McCalmont. The Rev. J. Davie officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, Mr W.S. Dickens, of Pownall street, was attired in cream georgette, finished with lace, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms... The bride's sister, Miss Alice Dickens, acted as bridesmaid, and was attired in heliotrope beaded georgette...  Mr Harvey? Rick, of Masterton, was best man. The reception was afterwards held at the Arcade Hall, about 25 guests being present.
