Annual Meeting of Parishioners held in the Tinui Hall on 5th May 1915.

Minutes of last meeting were read & confirmed.

Mr G. Groves sent apology for absence.

The Vicar in his annual report referred to the loss of his Warden [Frank Brading] and thanked all those who had so ably assisted him with the work of the Church during the year.

The Treasurer read a report of his work for the year.

Propd. by A. T. Hancock secd. by Mr Jennings that the Balance Sheet be adopted and read subject to its being found in order by the auditor. (Carried.)

Propd. by A.T. Hancock secd. by Mr Sutton that Messrs D.H. Speedy, G. Groves & A. T. Hancock be appointed a Committee to deal with the shortage in the [assessment?] fund.

Mr Hands appointed Mr Maunsell Vicar's Warden.

A. T. Hancock was appointed People's Warden.

The following were elected Vestrymen for the year. Messrs. H. A. Nevins, D. & A. Speedy, H. Sutton, G. Groves, A.A. Cameron, T. Dillon, W. Bartholomew.

Propd. A. T. Hancock secd. by Mr Speedy that Mr Jennings be elected auditor.  (Carried.)

Propd. Mr Sutton secd. by A. T. Hancock that Mr Speedy be re elected Treasurer (Carried.)

Propd. Mr Hands secd. Mr Sutton that a letter of condolence signed by Mr Hands & the Wardens be sent to the relations of the late Mr Brading.  (Carried.)

Propd. Mr Hands secd. by Mr Sutton that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the Ladies for supplying afternoon tea.   (Carried)

[1]  Mr Frank Brading, of Tinui, who had served the parish for some 14 years, 13 of them as Vicar’s Warden.  Frank died on 6 April 1915, at his home, ‘Thorplands,’ Tinui.
