SPEEDY--BARTHOLOMEW.

On Wednesday the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tinui, was the scene of a pretty wedding, when Miss Florence Mary Molly Bartholomew, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Bartholomew, Taipos, Tinui, was married to Mr David Henry (Rewi) Speedy, Flag Creek, Tinui.

The Rev. B D Ashcroft officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in pale pink georgette, trimmed with gold lace...

Miss Flora Perry (Blenheim), the bridesmaid, wore a frock of heliotrope georgette trimmed with lace...

Mr Gavin Speedy accompanied his brother as best man...

After the ceremony a reception was held in the town hall, when Mr. and Mrs Bartholomew received about 80 guests. The happy couple left by car... The church was decorated by Miss Perry, who was also responsible for the floral bell.
